Q-Seven Help:
Q-Seven is a rendition of the famous
game Over and Under (also known as
Under and Over). Players bet their
coins on either under seven, over
seven or seven exactly. The dice are
then thrown (2 of them) and the total
of the two is what determines how the
player did.
The payoffs for Under or Over are 1 to
1 or "Even". Payoffs for matching
Seven exactly are 4 for 1. 4 FOR 1
means that the bank takes the original
bet and pays back 4 coins for each that
was wagered. So, in odds terms this
comes out to a payout of 3 to 1.
Windows:
---------------------------------------
On the left side of the screen you will
see some window fields. They are: Your
Bet, Your Time, Your Coins, Coin Value,
Max Turns, and Your Turns.
YOUR BET: This field reflects how much
you are wagering. When you place a bet
the money you wager is immediately
subtracted from YOUR COINS and YOUR
TIME is updated accordingly. If you
win, you will get paid off at 1 to 1
or 4 FOR 1 depending on how you bet.
If you lose you will simply lose the
coins/time already subtracted from
the fields shown on your screen.
YOUR TIME: This is how many minutes you
have on your account. This does NOT
include the time you've spent actually
playing the game (which is also
subtracted from your time remaining
when you leave the game). This just
gives you an idea of how many minutes
you have won or lost. When you exit
the game, time spent playing is
subtracted from YOUR TIME and returned
to the BBS.
YOUR COINS: This is how many coins you
have remaining. Each coin has a value
indicated by the COIN VALUE window
field. This should also explain the
meaning of the COIN VALUE window field.
MAX TURNS: This is how many turns a
player may take per day. This is
defined by the BBS Sysop and can be a
value from 1 to 1000.
YOUR TURNS: This is your turn count for
the day. Each time you take a turn,
the value in this field will increase
by 1.
